Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. All of our appointments bookable in advance are made available online and they are also bookable via phone. I am unsure how far in advance you are trying to book, but we did change our appointment system some time ago to try and reduce the amount of DNA's that occur due to appointments being booked too far in advance, so you can only book up to two weeks ahead of time now. This has reduced the amount of DNAs and so means less appointments are wasted. It will obviously be more difficult to book in advance if you are looking for specific GPs who could possibly be on holiday or away for some other reason and, if that were the case, no appointments would show as available for them. Many of our patients do prefer this way of communicating and we actively encourage patients to sign up online. I am sure you are already aware of this, but it's worth remembering that you do need to bring proof of identity to the surgery when you attend the appointment, so that you are verified online and then can continue to use the service.
